On Tuesday this week, Mom came over to DKs with Watson after picking him up at The Democratic Headquarters. It was the greatest thing to be working in my basement office at 6306 and hear his little feet pounding their way down the stairs towards me. The four of us took off for Big Burger…and the infamous Zebra cones. Wat was a champ the whole time, navigating the pile o’ ice cream sitting atop his cone. DK’s disappeared in seconds, of course!
When we got back to the Fox’s lair, it was time for me to “scoot” home and Wat Bot wanted to watch. My favorite moment was idling next to Buckwheat at the stoplight next to Starbucks…talking to Mom and Watson through their window. I’m sure the surrounding cars thought we were nuts. Especially because over and over, when Watson sees me now, he scrunches up his nose, puts up his “claws” and grumbles “CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!” (Gabe, you’re going to have to see the new video TK made for my Birthday…it’s an adaptation of the Caney Mountain music video you watched the night before you left…starring yours truly, Momo Tim and Little Wat)
It’s a good life.
