Being back in FL has been fabulous on many levels.
First, seeing special people like David, Tim’s grandparents, and Norton (who has expanded his skill set now to include welding!).
Second, revisiting the places. The “sticks” we planted at 1063 on 40th street are now TREES. St. Armand’s circle is as busy as ever…and the seagulls and pelicans are still doing their thing off Longboat Key.
Third, experiencing the “appreciation” effect. Being here makes me thankful for both my past and my present. I love that this place holds a special spot in my heart…but I’m happy to have what I have in KC now. It’s a lovely combo, really.
David and I went to see Swing Vote in downtown Sassyrota 
and it’s fantastic…I’d recommend it… considering we’re in such a political season.
